Born in 1931, he graduated from the University of Naples where he later began teaching architectural composition. His work has always been conducted in close contact his didactic activity. Specifically, since 1968, he, together with his students, has performed group work in the most deprived neighborhoods of Naples, realizing objects and performances with retrived techniques and materials. Although he does not consider himself a radical, ha was a member og “Global Tools” and had noteworthy attention in the debate of the movement, for his study of spontaneous creativity, of basic techniques and materials with which he realized imaginative and “impossible” objects of design.
