1st Edition, exhibition “Gianni Pettena”, Enrico Fornello Gallery, Milan, 2012
2nd Edition, exhibition “Gianni Pettena. Forgiven by Nature”, UMOCA, Salt Lake City, Utah, 2013
Created on the occasion of the exhibition in Milan, the work contains within it the fundamentals of architecture as it has been conceived since its origins, for it unites the idea of a building as the result of an act of construction with that of its insertion in a space, defining it and modifying its perception as well. The physicality and action of constructing is also accentuated here by the use of a natural material, clay, whose malleability and lack of homogeneity in themselves generate architecture, an architecture that can however be directed toward a mental use of space.
